ABOUT ELLA DANGREMONT
A vibrant, immersive floral painting from my studio in Anglet.
My work explores the energy of the living world through vibrant floral compositions where colour, movement and organic forms interact to create intense visual landscapes. Flowers are at the heart of my universe. I do not use them as simple decorative elements, but as living forms capable of activating space and structuring the picture surface. Amplified, freed from naturalism, they become a visual language in their own right.
My painting relies on bold colours, organic rhythms and an instinctive approach to pattern. The forms seem to grow freely beyond the edges of the canvas, like a nature in full expansion. Through this floral vocabulary, I seek to create immersive and vibrant works, capable of evoking in the viewer a sensitive experience made of joy, surprise and wonder.
My journey: from textile design to painting.
After studying textile design at the Atelier Chardon Savard in Paris, I worked for several years as a freelance textile designer for fashion and home decoration brands. This background deeply nourishes my approach to painting: a particular attention to colour, pattern and composition.
Today, my work extends to different media and increasingly moves towards larger, immersive formats, as well as interventions in public space.
I paint the living in expansion.
