ELLA DANGREMONT

I am Ella Dangremont, a painter and textile designer based in the southwest of France, between the ocean and the mountains.

My work explores the energy of the living world through vibrant floral compositions where color, movement, and organic shapes dialogue to create intense visual landscapes. Flowers are at the heart of my universe. I do not use them as simple decorative elements, but as living forms capable of activating space and structuring the pictorial surface. Amplified, freed from naturalism, they become a visual language in their own right. My painting relies on bold colors, organic rhythms, and an instinctive approach to patterns. Shapes seem to grow freely beyond the canvas space, like nature in full expansion. Through this floral vocabulary, I seek to create immersive and vibrant works capable of evoking in the viewer a sensitive experience made of joy, surprise, and wonder. After studying textile design at Atelier Chardon Savard in Paris, I worked for several years as a freelance textile designer for fashion and decor brands. This path deeply nourishes my approach to painting: a particular attention paid to color, pattern, and composition. Today, my work extends to different supports and is increasingly oriented towards larger, more immersive formats, as well as interventions in public spaces.
I paint the living in expansion.
